Terms of Service
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Version: 1.0
These Terms of Service govern the cleaning and related services that Luna Cleaning Co. (“Luna,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides to a customer (“you” or “your”) and your use of lunacleaning.co, its booking tools, and its customer portal. By accepting the required booking checkbox or signing a service order that incorporates these Terms, you agree to the confirmed service order, these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation Policy, and the Rescheduling Policy.
1. Contract formation
A booking request is not accepted until Luna confirms the service scope, date and time, price or approved estimate, service location, and any required payment. A request marked custom quote, quoted, pending, or awaiting payment is not a final service commitment. If a confirmed service order conflicts with these Terms, the confirmed service order controls for that service. You represent that you are at least 18 and authorized to request services at the property.
2. Services and scope
Luna will provide the package, add-ons, cadence, and service location stated in the confirmed service order. Starting prices are estimates; final pricing may depend on property size, rooms and bathrooms, condition, access, add-ons, safety conditions, and any scope change you approve.
Luna provides services only and does not sell or rent physical products. Unless expressly included, Luna does not provide hazardous-material remediation, biohazard cleanup, pest removal, mold remediation, high-access exterior work, medical cleaning, or work requiring a professional license Luna has not confirmed it holds. Luna may stop or decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, materially different from the disclosed scope, or likely to harm a person, animal, property, or equipment.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Provide a safe, lawful service location and accurate booking information.
- Provide timely access, parking instructions, gate or alarm instructions, water, and electricity reasonably needed for service.
- Secure valuables, medications, firearms, confidential records, and fragile or irreplaceable property.
- Disclose delicate surfaces, known defects, active construction, pests, hazardous materials, illness-related precautions, aggressive animals, and other relevant risks before service.
- Supervise minors, secure pets away from the work area, and obtain any required third-party authorization.
4. Scheduling and access
Confirmed times are service windows, not a guarantee of an exact arrival minute. Traffic, earlier appointments, emergencies, unsafe conditions, or events outside reasonable control may affect arrival. Luna will communicate a material delay when reasonably possible. Use only an approved channel for sensitive access information.
5. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You authorize Luna’s payment processor to charge the final checkout or approved service-order amount plus only taxes and owner-approved charges disclosed before acceptance. Luna’s website is not designed to store full payment-card numbers; payment credentials are processed by the provider identified at checkout.
Payment authorization does not guarantee booking acceptance. If Luna cannot accept a paid booking, Luna will offer a replacement time or initiate a refund to the original payment method. Bank or processor timing may affect when the refund appears.
6. Recurring services
A recurring service begins only after the frequency, amount or permitted price range, continuation, and cancellation method are disclosed and affirmatively accepted. Service continues at the selected cadence until canceled. A customer may terminate an online recurring plan through the client portal or by emailing Luna. Canceling a series stops future appointments after the effective cancellation date; an appointment already inside the 24-hour cutoff remains subject to the Cancellation Policy.
7. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds
The Cancellation Policy and Rescheduling Policy are incorporated into these Terms. Luna uses a 24-hour online cutoff and does not impose an automatic late fee. A charge may apply only when the confirmed service order clearly disclosed it before acceptance. Nothing in the policies limits a nonwaivable consumer right.
8. Quality concerns and damage reports
Cleaning results depend on condition, materials, prior damage, and agreed scope. Notify Luna as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours, of a service concern. Luna may offer a reasonable re-clean, correction, credit, or refund after review. Report suspected property damage promptly and preserve reasonable documentation. Normal wear, pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, unstable fixtures, and undisclosed conditions may affect responsibility.
9. Communications and electronic records
You consent to transactional messages needed to fulfill or document a service, including confirmations, schedule changes, payment notices, safety notices, and account-access messages. Marketing messages require a separate choice and may be stopped at any time.
You agree to conduct booking transactions electronically and receive service orders, policies, receipts, and notices at the email associated with your account. Checking the required acceptance box and submitting a booking is intended as your electronic signature. Luna may retain an audit record tying acceptance to the policy version and booking.
10. Privacy and account security
The Privacy Policy describes Luna’s information practices. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. Luna may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, workers, the site, or the business.
11. Reviews and feedback
Nothing in these Terms prohibits or penalizes a lawful, honest review or a report to a government agency. Content may not be unlawful, knowingly false, infringing, threatening, or improperly expose another person’s private information.
12. Disclaimers and limits
Luna will perform confirmed services with reasonable care. Except for express commitments and rights that cannot be excluded by law, Luna does not promise every stain, odor, defect, or condition can be removed. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or legally actionable personal injury.
13. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, utility failure, government order, road closure, or a genuine safety emergency. The affected party will communicate promptly and use reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund an unperformed service.
14. Resolving concerns and governing law
Contact Luna first so the business can investigate. California law governs these Terms without displacing applicable federal law or nonwaivable consumer protections. Arbitration, class-action waiver, attorney-fee, and similar provisions are not included.
15. Changes and severability
The policy version accepted for a confirmed service controls that service unless both parties agree to a change or the law requires otherwise. Future versions apply prospectively. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions continue.
