Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 26, 2026
Version: 1.0
Luna Cleaning Co. respects the privacy of customers, site visitors, prospective customers, and workers. This policy explains the information Luna collects, why it is used, how it may be disclosed, and the choices available to you.
Information Luna collects
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, account identifier, and communication preferences.
- Service and location data: service address, postal code, approved access instructions, property details, package, add-ons, cadence, appointment times, service notes, and work-zone assignment.
- Account and authentication data: WordPress account data, password hashes maintained by WordPress, login events, role, and recovery records.
- Payment and transaction data: price, currency, payment status, transaction reference, refunds, and limited provider records. Stripe or another disclosed provider processes payment credentials; Luna’s site is not designed to store full card numbers.
- Communications and consent data: inquiries, support messages, accepted policy version, consent records, marketing choice, cancellation and rescheduling requests, reviews, and complaint-resolution records.
- Technical and anti-abuse data: privacy-protective security hashes, browser or device information in ordinary server logs, session and rate-limit records, and security or error logs.
- Workforce data: availability, assignments, time entries, time-off requests, shift offers, handbook acknowledgments, and authorized operational records.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card data, medical records, alarm codes, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary notes or contact forms.
Sources
Information may come directly from you; from a person authorized to book for a property; from your use of the website and portals; from assigned personnel documenting service operations; and from providers supporting payment, hosting, email, security, and backups.
How Luna uses information
- Provide estimates, create and manage accounts, schedule and dispatch services, and complete requested work.
- Process payments, refunds, recurring-service instructions, and transaction records.
- Send confirmations, reminders, account notices, support responses, and safety communications.
- Manage worker availability, hours, assignments, safety, and business operations.
- Prevent fraud, spam, misuse, and security threats.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Improve services and accessibility.
- Send marketing only according to the preference recorded for that purpose, with an available opt-out.
Disclosure of information
Luna may disclose only information reasonably needed to assigned workers and authorized operations personnel; payment processors such as Stripe; hosting, email, backup, security, analytics, spam-prevention, and professional-service providers; accountants, insurers, attorneys, or auditors; authorities when required by law or reasonably needed to protect rights and safety; or a business successor subject to applicable obligations.
Luna does not sell personal information for money and does not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, Luna will update this policy and provide required notice or choice before the change applies.
Cookies, analytics, and browser signals
The site may use essential cookies or similar technologies for login, security, preferences, booking, and portal functions. Nonessential analytics or advertising technology should remain disabled until its provider, consent requirements, and disclosure are approved. The site does not currently use a separate process to respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals and will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals when applicable.
Marketing choices
Marketing consent is separate from consent needed to fulfill a booking or answer an inquiry. You may unsubscribe through the method in a marketing email or by contacting Luna. Luna may retain a suppression record to honor the opt-out. Transactional or safety messages may continue when needed for an active account or service.
Retention
Luna retains information only as long as reasonably needed for active services, support, consent evidence, payment and tax records, safety review, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Retention depends on record type, sensitivity, legal requirements, and any legal hold. Access instructions should be removed or de-identified when no longer operationally needed. Backups may retain deleted data for a limited recovery cycle before expiration.
Your choices and requests
Subject to identity verification, applicable law, and valid retention exceptions, you may ask Luna to access, correct, delete, or export personal information associated with your email. You may withdraw marketing consent or request account closure. Luna may retain or pseudonymize records needed for transactions, taxes, security, safety, legal claims, and consent evidence.
Submit a request to Stephany@lunacleaning.co or call 714-620-9173. Luna will verify the request using information reasonably related to the account and will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Security
Luna uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, including HTTPS, role-based access, input validation, rate limits, audit events, secure payment-provider integrations, updates, and backups. No system is completely secure. Notify Luna promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access or disclosure.
Children
The website and services are intended for adults arranging cleaning or related services. Luna does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact Luna to request review and deletion.
California and regional rights
Luna provides the request options above without representing that every privacy statute applies in every circumstance. If Luna later becomes subject to additional privacy obligations or enables new tracking practices, this policy and the site’s notices will be updated before those practices launch.
Changes to this policy
Luna may update this policy prospectively. The page will show the new effective date and version. Luna will provide prominent or direct notice before a material change when required by law.
